1. Overview
KCS Creations ("we", "our", or "us"), operating CryptoITR.com, offers a 7-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans. Once a tax report, CSV export, or Schedule VDA export has been downloaded, the service is considered consumed and is non-refundable — except in cases of technical error (see Section 4).
2. Eligible Plans
This refund policy applies to the following paid plans:
- Starter — ₹199 per Financial Year (4 calculations, max 400 transactions)
- Pro — ₹499 per Financial Year (50 calculations, unlimited transactions)
- CA Professional — ₹1,999 per Financial Year (unlimited calculations, multi-client management)
The Free tier (2 calculations) is provided at no cost and is not subject to this refund policy.
The Consultant CA (₹3,499) and Whale Support (₹7,999+) service plans have separate terms provided at the time of booking.
3. Standard 7-Day Refund Conditions
You are eligible for a full refund if all of the following conditions are met:
- Your refund request is made within 7 days of the date of purchase
- You have not downloaded any PDF tax report, CSV export, or Schedule VDA export
- You have not generated any ITR filing schedule
- For CA Professional: no client reports have been generated
Once any of these outputs are generated or downloaded, the service is considered consumed and a standard refund is no longer available. Viewing the on-screen tax summary (without downloading) does not consume the service.
4. Technical Error Refunds (Anytime)
If a technical issue or incorrect tax calculation occurs due to a bug or error on our platform, we will — at our discretion and regardless of whether a report was downloaded:
- Provide a full refund, or
- Fix the error and provide a complimentary recalculation with support
To claim a technical error refund, email us at support@cryptoitr.com with your order ID, a description of the error, and any supporting screenshots.
5. Duplicate Payment Refunds
If you accidentally paid twice or purchased multiple subscriptions for the same plan and financial year, you are entitled to a full refund for the duplicate transaction. Duplicate payment refunds are processed within 5–7 working days of being reported.
6. Non-Refundable Scenarios
Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:
- The refund request is made after 7 days from the date of purchase (except for technical errors — see Section 4)
- A PDF tax report, CSV export, or Schedule VDA export has been downloaded
- For CA Professional: one or more client reports have been generated
- The account has been terminated due to violation of our Terms of Service
7. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, send an email to support@cryptoitr.com with the following details:
- Your registered email address
- Order ID or transaction reference number
- Reason for the refund request
We will acknowledge your request within 48 hours and communicate our decision within 5 business days.
8. Refund Processing
Once your refund is approved:
- The refund will be processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method
- Refunds are processed through Razorpay; actual credit to your account may take additional time depending on your bank or card issuer
- You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been initiated
9. GST on Refunds
If GST was charged on your original purchase, the full amount including GST will be refunded. A credit note will be issued in accordance with applicable GST regulations.
10. Post-Refund Access
Upon successful refund, your access to paid plan features will be revoked. You will retain access to the Free tier (2 calculations) and any calculations already performed will remain in your account history for reference.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. The refund terms applicable to your purchase will be those in effect at the time of your purchase.
